Please pray for them as they love on the kids and tackle some new projects to get the Wesley Home for Youth moving in the direction of building on land that has been donated and is ready for the cultivation God will provide in the lives of 200+ children that are currently living in the trash and streets with NO HOPE!
We are also in the process of moving our blog so that you will only have one stop to make when you want updates on what God is doing through this ministry. This is my last post on this site! Please check the link below.
Thank you for your support of this ministry and I pray it will not end here!

Street Kids
In June 2009 when I first visited the Philippines my heart was
especially touched by the many children residing on the streets.
It ripped my heart out every night as we drove through town and saw children sleeping on the sidewalks or near the pumps at gas stations.
Even when driving near the mall, tiny little children would come and literally press their faces to our windows....begging.
I still so often think of these precious souls. Souls overlooked, abandoned.
My heart aches for them...SO MANY of them!
Please open your heart to this ministry. EVERY cent you give goes directly to support children like these and rescue more. We already have so many on the waiting list to come to Wesley Home where they can have a safe, loving environment, receive 3 meals everyday, get an education and learn about Jesus.
Thankful, Sheryl

God gave the opportunity for us to feed these two boys during the July 2011 trip. The one on the left (R.J.) has been living at the McDonalds for FOUR YEARS. Every night he sleeps in a tiny little tree in front. |

Word
Luke 18:1-8
The Parable of the Persistent Widow
And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’
For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’”
And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Project Pillowcase
Another 72 sweet dresses have been delivered and are on the container for shipment!
Although there will be many other pieces of clothing on the container these dresses are just precious and for me are different than a regular t-shirt or pair of pants.
When a girl gets dressed up it boosts her self esteem a bit and for the girls in the trash that is tremendous. The girls who've been raped, abused, prostituted by their family.... a new dress is a bandaid, yes - but a means of reaching out to them.
Only 153 dresses more to meet the goal for this year!
Thankful, Sheryl

Blessings
God continues to pour His many blessings onto our ministry!
Yesterday Step 1 of the building process was completed. We now begin praying over Step 2 and trusting that God will provide.
Please pray with us that God will place the right people in our lives as we begin the major building process. Also pray that God will guide us as we continue on this journey.
Thankful, Sheryl
