Although Jeraluz is not quite 15 she doesn't seem to mind the motherly role she is filling at Wesley Home for Youth. If she isn't busy assisting Nanny Linda with dinner preparation after school she is helping a younger house-sibling with homework.

Jeraluz has a fun-loving way about her that draws the younger children. But they have respect for her and they get in line if she calls them on misbehavior.
Jeraluz was one of the five that were baptized during our July mission trip. This was a huge step for her as she turned from her old life and said I believe in Jesus Christ, the one true and living God. Please pray that she will continue to grow in her faith and her walk with God.
